Being a teen today is harder than ever. Anxiety, sadness, and pressure can feel overwhelming — but there are proven ways to cope and feel better. This 6-week online group teaches Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)-based skills to help teens understand their emotions, manage negative thoughts, and build resilience.

Led by Dr. Shakina J. Murphy, PhD educator and certified CBT facilitator, with over 15 years of experience supporting youth in mental health and educational settings, this group is practical, supportive, and designed to empower teens — not lecture them.

Teens Will Learn How To:

  • Understand anxiety & depression and how they affect the brain and body

  • Recognize triggers, early signs, and thought patterns that fuel distress

  • Use CBT tools to challenge negative thinking and build confidence

  • Develop healthy coping skills for stress, sadness, and overwhelm

  • Create an action plan for resilience and emotional self-care

Parent Component :
Each enrollment includes a Parent Tip Sheet to support what teens learn each week, it adds private teen+parent coaching + parent email tips participants get a private coaching call with Dr. Murphy to personalize strategies for home.

Who It’s For: Teens ages 13–18 struggling with anxiety, low mood, or stress who want practical tools and a safe, nonjudgmental group.
